CCNMTL is excited to be an integral part of the new Center for Teaching and Learning at Columbia University.

This initiative, from the Office of the Provost, has already served as a valuable opportunity to reflect on current practices, take stock of operating realities, and adjust priorities where needed, all in alignment with the evolving educational mission of the University. This is a big step for the University, one that will allow us to enhance our work:
- Providing exceptional teaching and learning support in collaboration with University partners.
- Exploring and developing courses in various digital learning environments, including MOOC platforms, hybrid classroom modes, and expanding the use of the Canvas learning management system on campus, among others.
- Investigating and implementing new forms of emerging technologies in support of teaching and learning.
- Assessing and supporting vital tools such as Courseworks, WikiSpaces, WikiScholars, EdBlogs, YouTube, and Mediathread.
